1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how CleanCal collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the CleanCal website, dashboard, messaging workflows, calendar tools, billing flows, and related services (the "Service").

By using CleanCal, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this Privacy Policy. If you use CleanCal on behalf of an organization, you are responsible for making sure that organization and its authorized users, cleaners, and account admins understand how CleanCal processes information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Service, and information received from integrations you choose to connect.

Account and Profile Information

Name, email address, password credentials, account settings, timezone, language preferences, and account role
Google account identifiers and email address if you sign in or sign up with Google
Referral codes, referral relationships, and related account metadata

Property, Cleaner, and Operations Information

Property names, addresses or location details you enter, calendar feed URLs, check-in and checkout dates, tags, notes, assignments, and cleaning templates
Cleaner names, contact details, Telegram or messaging identifiers, assigned properties, payout settings, and task history
Cleaning task status, completed steps, timestamps, proof photos, task notes, owner notes, notification status, and error logs

Messaging and Integration Information

Telegram chat IDs, linking tokens, bot commands, message delivery records, and files or photos sent through Telegram when used with CleanCal
WhatsApp or other messaging webhook identifiers and message metadata if those integrations are enabled
Calendar feed data from iCal, Google Calendar, Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, or other calendar sources you connect

Billing Information

Paid subscriptions, trials, payment method collection, invoices, and payment status are processed through third-party payment processors such as Stripe. CleanCal may store billing metadata such as plan tier, subscription status, Stripe customer or subscription identifiers, current billing period, trial end date, and payment status. CleanCal does not store full credit card numbers.

Technical and Usage Information

IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps, session information, cookies, and similar technical data
Security logs, error logs, webhook logs, email delivery status, and product usage events needed to operate and protect the Service

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service
Create and manage accounts, authentication, subscriptions, trials, billing, and customer support
Sync calendar feeds and generate cleaning tasks
Send operational notifications through the dashboard, email, Telegram, WhatsApp, or other enabled channels
Track task status, proof photos, notes, reminders, summaries, and message delivery
Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, security incidents, and misuse of the Service
Analyze product performance and troubleshoot errors
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

We do not sell personal information.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we process information based on one or more of the following:

Performance of a contract, such as providing the Service and managing your subscription
Legitimate interests, such as improving the Service, preventing fraud, and securing the platform
Consent, such as when you connect optional integrations or enable notifications

Service providers that help us operate CleanCal, including hosting, storage, email, messaging, authentication, analytics, customer support, and payment providers
Payment processors such as Stripe to process subscriptions, trials, invoices, renewals, failed payments, and payment method updates
Messaging and integration providers such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Google, and calendar platforms when you connect or use those integrations
Account owners, account admins, cleaners, or team members as needed to provide the Service and show tasks, assignments, notes, proof photos, and operational status
Authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law or when necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the Service
Parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality or legal safeguards

We do not rent or sell personal information to advertisers.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

CleanCal uses cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in, protect sessions, remember preferences, support security features, and understand Service usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working properly.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and maintain backups.

Proof photos, cleaning history, message delivery logs, billing records, and operational records may be retained for different periods depending on product settings, legal obligations, and backup cycles. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where reasonably practicable.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for using strong passwords, protecting your devices, limiting account access, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

9. International Data Transfers

CleanCal and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your location. By using the Service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in other countries.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

11. Account Admins, Cleaners, and Other Users

If an account owner adds account admins, cleaners, or other team members to CleanCal, the account owner is responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any permissions required by law before adding their information or enabling notifications.

Cleaners and account admins may see information relevant to their tasks or account access, such as property names, task dates, assigned work, notes, proof photo requirements, and message content.

12. Children's Privacy

CleanCal is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to CleanCal, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice through the Service, by email, or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
